In the fiscal year ending on March 20, 2024, Mobarakeh Steel set new records for consecutive monthly and daily production. The company produced over 7.3 million tons of steel, surpassing its annual target by 102% and achieving a 1.7% growth compared to the previous year.
Mobarakeh Steel achieved 102% of its production plan by manufacturing 5.2 million tons of hot coils, marking an 8% increase from the previous year.
With the production of 1.46 million tons of hot coils in the Saba steel complex, a new annual record was recorded in this regard, which was an increase of 1.7% compared to the previous year.
The production of special products in this complex increased by 30%, reaching over 2.7 million tons, which was 630 thousand tons more than the previous year. What further emphasizes the importance of achieving the production goals is the increase in the quality efficiency of the company, rising from 87.4% in the previous year to 91.1%.
Mobarake Steel supplies more than 70% of the country’s flat product needs, and the livelihood of many industries and customers depends on its products. In order to meet the maximum market demand, planning is always done to ensure that the hot rolling and cold rolling lines operate at maximum production capacity. The main input for the hot rolling line is slab. The production of slab is a key indicator of the company’s performance and the country’s position in the world. Therefore, maximizing slab production is of special importance for the company.
